Helping my toddler to increase his weight


Tetiba I feel worried if Abbie is under weight! Sebab sejak beberapa bulan kebelakangan ni ai timbang berat Abbie tak bertambah la...asyik 10kgs je.... Nak kata tak makan, makan juga even ai nampak dia macam dah kurang juga makan berbanding dulu, leka bermain aje kerjanya...berlari berjoget pendek kata Abbie dah semakin aktif mungkin penyebab berat Abbie tak naik.

Dulu masa Abbie kecik, ai do plot his growth dekat website momy poko, tapi pastu website tu gone la..habis rekord Abbie, hanya bergantung pada buku check-up dengan doc Wong saje.
So tadi ai try goggle cari chart untuk tengok perkembangan Abbie, dan ternyata Abbie bukan lah underweight but in lowest rank [cer tengok graph kat atas tu ai ada tandakan dengan kaler merah].
Kalau tanya doc Wong dia akan cakap Abbie dulu pun lahir 2.66kgs aja,,, kira memang berat minima untuk baby boy yang lahir normal, so its still normal for him to growth macam tu.
Tapi yelah ai still do worried la tengok anak ai yang kecil tu, ye...fyi abbie nie pendek :P
Dalam usia 21bulan dengan berat 10kgs, tinggi abbie belum sampai 80cm...rasanya 75cm je kot waahahahaha

Neway, I cant wait to see doc Wong when Abbie turn 2 nak dengar comment dia ttg berat Abbie, last visit 6month ago berat Abbie tak sampai 9kgs 

But here, I found some info to share how to increase toddler weight dari segi pemakanan seharian:

  1. Minum whole milk, whole milk cheese (yang kaler kuning bukan putih), whole milk yogurt.
  2. Ice cream (agak-agak la kalau nak bagi erk...kang selsema or batuk pulak anak tu huhuhu)
  3. Minum smoothies yang di mixkan dengan yogurt atau ice cream (yes ai always give him this :)
  4. Bila steam or merebus sayuran, renjiskan atau rebus dengan olive oil
  5. Makan ayam & daging
  6. Makan Avocado
  7. Peanut butter (terbaik buat homemade peanut butter sebab ia high calori) but make sure your child tak ada allergy/eczema. p/s- ai try use almond - almond butter and Abbie love it ya :)
  8. Dip steam vege such baby corn,broccoli, carrot, potato, ect dengan mayonnaise.
  9. Bagi mash banana mix with yogurt
  10. Give supplement food such Appeton, Scott Emulsion ect
  11. Bagi nutritional drink for toddler such Vitagen, Yakult, Calciyum ect
  12. Offer food more frequent ( 4 ~ 6 kali sehari)
  13. Don't always use high fiber food such wholemeal pasta and brown rice (see...terbaik is red rice tau) as it can reduce his ability to absorb essential vitamin & mineral.



10 healthy snacks for toddler :


  1. Sliced apple with peanut butter
  2. Cereal mix with milk
  3. Yogurt + granola
  4. Organic peanut butter cracker
  5. Graham cracker dip in yogurt
  6. Sliced & peeled cucumber (dip in yogurt)
  7. Watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydue  mix with kiwi,pineapple and mango
  8. String yellow cheese
  9. Cereal & Fruits bar
  10. Smoothies
