Just sharing.....kalau boleh avoid cuba la avoid
selain tidak begitu nutrisi kita juga boleh bina good eating habit while our baby still small
nanti dah besar mereka kan terus menikmati cara hidup & pemakanan yang sihat
untuk kesihatan IQ & tubuh badan :)
Much of the nutritional value has been processed out, and in some cases it is replaced with vitamins/minerals that are hard for baby to digest (and therefore aren't absorbed by the body).
Also, even though the jars seem small, babies eat even less, so you end up wasting a lot (or feeling like you have to force the baby to eat more).
Processed foods contribute as much as 75 percent of sodium. Manufacturers include sodium in their processed products because it slows the growth of bacteria and other organisms and prolongs shelf life, disguises the metallic taste of aluminum in soft drinks and canned foods, and accentuates flavor in cookies and cakes. A diet high in sodium eventually causes high blood pressure and cardiovascular complications.
Refined grain, which means that manufacturers remove the outer portion than contains essential fatty acids and nutrients to prolong product shelf life. These foods frequently provide only empty calories that contribute to obesity.
In a survey of 4,000 school-aged children, those who ate processed foods at the age of 3 had lower IQ scores several years later compared with children who ate nutritionally balanced foods, according to an analysis of survey results published in 2010. The University of Bristol researchers concluded that eating well during early childhood is crucial for healthy brain development.
Trans fats are chemically altered lipids that prolong the shelf life of processed foods, such as cookies, chips, fast foods and margarine. Consuming them increases LDL, or bad, cholesterol, and decreases HDL, or good, cholesterol. They are monetarily inexpensive but costly to long-term cardiovascular health.
